• Liked songs & playlists — Your saved music preferences, stored locally in your browser
• Playback history — Tracks you've listened to, stored locally in your browser

All of this data is stored entirely on your device using your browser's localStorage. We do not have access to it, and it never leaves your browser.

2. Third-Party Services

SoundMatch uses the following third-party APIs to provide its functionality:

• Last.fm API — To find similar tracks and artist information. Subject to Last.fm's Terms of Service.
• Apple iTunes Search API — To retrieve album artwork and song previews. Subject to Apple's Terms.
• Google Fonts — To load web fonts. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

These services may collect standard web request data (such as your IP address) in accordance with their own privacy policies.

3. Cookies

SoundMatch does not use cookies. We use localStorage solely to save your preferences and music library on your device.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your data with third parties. Since all user data is stored locally in your browser, we have no access to it.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Your data persists in your browser's localStorage until you choose to clear it. You can delete all SoundMatch data at any time by:

• Clearing your browser's site data for this website
• Using your browser's "Clear browsing data" feature

6. Children's Privacy

SoundMatch is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
